Which cookies this site uses and how to manage them.
ELIAN RESTAURANT PROYECTOS LA YERRA SL (hereinafter, the CONTROLLER) provides information, in compliance with Article 22.2 of Law 34/2002 on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce (LSSI-CE), Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and the current version of the Guide on the Use of Cookies of the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD), about the use of cookies on the website https://elianrestaurant.com (hereinafter, the "website").
What are cookies?
A cookie is a file that is downloaded to your computer, tablet, mobile phone or other device when you access certain web pages. Cookies allow a web page, among other things, to store and retrieve information about the browsing habits of a user or their equipment and, depending on the information they contain and the way in which they are used, they may also be used to recognise the user.
Types of cookies
According to the entity that manages them:
- First-party cookies: sent to the user's equipment from a device or domain managed by the publisher itself.
- Third-party cookies: sent to the user's equipment from a device or domain that is not managed by the publisher but by another entity that processes the data obtained through the cookies.
According to how long they remain active:
- Session cookies: designed to collect and store data while the user accesses a web page; they are deleted at the end of the session.
- Persistent cookies: the data remain stored on the device and can be accessed and processed for a period defined by the party responsible for the cookie (from minutes to several years).
According to their purpose:
- Technical cookies: necessary for browsing and the proper operation of the site. They make it possible to control traffic, identify the session, access restricted areas, remember the items in an order, etc. Exempt from consent.
- Personalisation cookies: allow the user to access the service with predefined characteristics (language, browser type, regional settings, etc.).
- Analysis or measurement cookies: allow the party responsible for them to monitor and analyse user behaviour, drawing up browsing profiles in order to make improvements.
- Advertising cookies: allow the advertising spaces that the publisher has included on its website to be managed as effectively as possible.
- Behavioural advertising cookies: store information on user behaviour obtained through the continuous observation of their browsing habits, which makes it possible to display advertising based on that behaviour.

- Accept all cookies.
- Reject all cookies (except strictly necessary technical cookies).
- Configure in detail which types of cookies they wish to allow.
The user may withdraw their consent at any time from the cookie settings panel available on the website, and may also delete stored cookies through their browser settings. Withdrawal of consent will not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.
