Before you come
Frequently asked questions
What you ask us most, so that everything runs smoothly.

Menu and à la carte
Can we all try the dishes on the set menu?
Of course. The menu price is per person, for adults and children alike. If everyone at the table orders a menu, you can put the dishes in the middle and share them. The only thing you can't do is order fewer menus than there are people at the table. If you don't all want the menu, you can order à la carte.
If we eat à la carte, do we have to order one dish each?
No. Unlike the set menu, à la carte you can order whichever dishes you fancy and share them however you like. Just bear in mind the table time, which depends on what you order.
Can I order rice if I come alone?
Yes. Our rice dishes are made for one and don't require a minimum of two people.
Do you have a children's price?
No, but the menu has dishes made with little ones in mind. Families are very welcome: you can order from the menu and share freely.
Time at the table
How long do we have the table?
To organise ourselves well, we adapt the table time to what you order:
- Light bites (less than one dish per person): 1 hour 15 minutes.
- Full meal: 2 hours, so you can linger over coffee without any rush.
Can we stay a little longer?
We love it when you're happy here. The usual table time is two hours per booking. If you'd like to stay on, tell us as soon as you can: we'll check the bookings straight away and confirm whether we can keep your table.
I'm short of time, what should I do?
If you have a deadline, let us know before ordering. We'll tell you which dishes are quickest and whether we can fit your timing so you can eat in peace.
Payment
I'm in a hurry to pay, how do I do it?
Head to the right-hand side of the bar. As soon as the manager has finished with other customers, they will take your payment so you don't lose a minute. We're working on letting you pay by QR code from your phone very soon.
We're a group, can we pay separately?
Yes, by card. To keep the service moving and avoid mix-ups with change, we don't take separate cash payments. By card you have two options:
- Split the bill equally between everyone.
- Have two bills: one for the menus and one for the extras, paid in one go or split equally.
If there are more than 6 of you and you choose two bills, we'll start taking payment 20 minutes before the end of service.
Celebrations
Can I bring a celebration cake?
Of course, you can bring whichever one you like for dessert. Unwrapping, cutting and serving it is up to you, and the service costs €10. Let us know if you end up bringing one so we can plan for it.
Can you prepare a tailor-made menu for us?
Yes. We love hearing your ideas and can adapt a menu to what you're looking for. That said, it's company policy not to make menus below the cost of our base offer: we can improve and enrich it, but never by cutting back on quality or ingredients.
Do you open exclusively outside your usual hours?
Yes, on days or sittings when we would normally be closed, except Sundays. We ask for a minimum of 20 guests; if there are fewer of you, we'll tell you the adjusted price per person. You'll find all the details under Groups and events.
Do you hold tastings, wine pairings or live music?
Yes, we organise special private events with limited places. If you'd like to hear about upcoming dates, write to us and we'll let you know.
Pets
Can I come with my dog?
Yes, if you let us know first. As seating is limited, we have an area set aside for pets: tell us which day you'd like to come and we'll confirm whether there's room. Guide and assistance dogs have access to the whole dining room.
- Bring their own bowl for water or food: we don't have dishes for pets.
- If your pet seems nervous, barks too much or looks uncomfortable, we'll ask you to take them for a short walk, for the peace of everyone in the room.
